These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stashback ("Service"), operated by Stashback Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using Stashback, you agree to these Terms.
Stashback provides automated backup and restore functionality for Shopify stores. The Service creates copies of your store data and allows you to restore that data to your Shopify store. Feature availability depends on your subscription plan.
You must have a valid Shopify store and be authorised to install apps on that store to use Stashback. By accepting these Terms, you represent that you have the authority to bind the merchant account to these Terms.
Stashback is billed through Shopify's billing system. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise Shopify to charge your account on a monthly basis at the rate shown at the time of subscription. Prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.
The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without charge.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You retain full ownership of all data backed up by the Service. We access your store data solely to provide the backup and restore services you request. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than providing the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to back up any data processed through the Service, including customer personal data.
Backups are retained according to your plan's history limit. When you uninstall the app, your session data is immediately deleted. All remaining data is permanently deleted 48 hours after uninstall. We cannot recover data after deletion.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled backups may occasionally fail due to Shopify API rate limits, connectivity issues, or maintenance. We will notify you of failures via the app and, if configured, by email.
We are not responsible for data loss resulting from Shopify platform outages, API changes, or failures outside our control.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that backups will be complete and accurate in all cases, or that restored data will be identical to the original in all circumstances.
Stashback is a safeguard, not a replacement for your own data management practices. You should maintain your own copies of critical data where feasible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stashback Ltd's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stashback Ltd and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
You may terminate your subscription at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
